KOZMO HOTEL
Luxury boutique hotel combining classic cosmopolitan elegance with modern craftsmanship.

About The Project
Conversion of a historic listed telephone exchange into a luxury urban hotel. A dialogue between preserved heritage architecture and refined contemporary interior.
Built between 1910 and 1917, this listed former telephone exchange had been vacant since the early 2000s until a Catalonian owner recognized its potential and acquired it in 2017 to create a high-end urban hotel. The project required a sensitive balance between heritage preservation, commercial viability, and contemporary hospitality standards, guided by an international design and construction team. Key architectural features—including the monumental staircase, sculptural reliefs, and intricate ceilings—were carefully restored while integrating a modern hotel program.
Bespoke FF&E solutions were carefully adapted to irregular room layouts and heritage constraints, ensuring both visual harmony and operational durability. Across 84 rooms and suites, the furnishings maintain consistent quality while allowing subtle individuality in detailing. The final result is a seamless integration of modern FF&E within a historic setting, successfully transforming a dormant landmark into a vibrant, high-performing luxury hotel.
